They're online. Go to the con website, http://www.dragoncon.org (I know the URL by heart), click on the DragonCon TV link and scroll down to the bumpers, which look like black YouTube screens.

They're a hoot! Judging by the dates, the first ones went up right after last year's con, and they'll probably be running these new ones this year.

My fave is on the 2nd page and is about showering, but the Regency Revenants one is pretty funny, too, and I think it's 1st page.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13705259501965011703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3815530646091177574.post-20380406563083705732010-06-19T22:55:39.231-04:002010-06-19T22:55:39.231-04:00Trish said: I would LOVE to go to Comic Con. And I think you're right, that the boys go to that one.

And Jeanne said: I'd love to do this one too. :> It just sounds so fun.

Road trip!

All the TV shows that have SFF elements go there to promote. A friend told me George Lucas previewed Star Wars there in 1976 and the fannish crowd loved it, thus generating invaluable word of mouth when the movie opened.

Believe it or not, I didn't want to go. SF movies had all been so cheesy, but a friend said he had heard this one was really good.

So we went. And . . . WOW!

Have I mentioned I saw Star Wars 23 times in the theater the year it came out (I was in grad school and had no life)?

Anyway, there is mucho good stuff to see and hear at Comic Con. Of course, the line to get into the hall where the TV panels are held can mean as much as a 3-hour wait. It's worse than DragonCon, and some of those lines are already worse than I'm willing to tolerate.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13705259501965011703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3815530646091177574.post-63708746573093636742010-06-19T22:44:19.402-04:002010-06-19T22:44:19.402-04:00That should be WRESTLE of course. *eye roll*That should be WRESTLE of course. *eye roll*Jeanne (AKA The Duchesse)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03492480881584553111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3815530646091177574.post-38630792829707363082010-06-19T22:43:45.980-04:002010-06-19T22:43:45.980-04:00Trish said: So, Jeanne, are we going to arm wrestl...Trish said: So, Jeanne, are we going to arm wrestle for Michael Trucco? :)

Oooh, yep, I'd arm wrestly you for him....OH! The heroine, Ana Burton, is a disgraced CIA Agent working on cold cases until her hearing comes up. She is sure she did her analysis right, but everything went wrong on her last mission. However, she's doing her best on the cold cases until she can figure it out. WHen she opens an old case of art fraud, she and Gates connect...and collide. As they're forced to work together to unravel decades old clues, they both become targets of the team who perpetrated the fraud and have a vested interest in keeping the truth dead. Figuring it out, and staying alive, and keeping Dav alive...well, that's the story!

There are a lot of red herrings and some serious surprises too, before the end.
