Passionate about that Wild Midnight!

by Anna Campbell

Hey, guys, February is a HUGE month in Campbellandia because I'm launching my new website. It's taken hours of work, not just by me but by my terrifically talented web mistress Paula Roe, to create this upated version. I wanted a look that reflected the danger and the sexy elegance of the Regency world.

I hope you'll check it out. More than that, I hope you'll love it!

www.annacampbell.info

Even better, in line with the month-long GO RED FOR WOMEN theme in the lair, you'll notice red features very strongly in the design. Look at that beautiful ribbon!

While I loved the old design to pieces, I thought it was getting a little tired. I also felt it reflected the gothic flavor of my first few books more closely than the darkly sensual flavor of my more recent works.

Not everything has changed. You'll notice there are a lot of old friends that are still there like the My Favorite Things column that has always been really popular. But there are also new pages, including one for press and one that gathers all my book trailers and video interviews in one place for ease of location.

I've been saving the page for MIDNIGHT'S WILD PASSION, my May 2011 release, for the website's debut.

So it's with great pleasure that I introduce to the Banditas and Bandita Buddies my next Regency romance MIDNIGHT'S WILD PASSION!

Here's the blurb:

London’s most notorious seducer, Nicholas Challoner lives solely for revenge…

The dashing, licentious Marquess of Ranelaw can never forgive Godfrey Demarest for ruining his sister—now the time has come to repay the villain in the same coin. But one formidably intriguing impediment stands in the way of Nicholas’s vengeance: Miss Antonia Smith, companion to his foe’s unsuspecting daughter.

Having herself been deceived and disgraced by a rogue—banished by her privileged family as a result and forced to live a lie—Antonia vows to protect her charge from the same cruel fate. She recognizes Ranelaw for the shameless blackguard he is, and will devote every ounce of her intelligence and resolve to thwarting him.

Yet Antonia has always had a fatal weakness for rakes...

There's an excerpt here for your reading pleasure.

I had enormous fun writing MIDNIGHT'S WILD PASSION. By the way, if you click on the top cover, which is the one for the American edition, it will take you straight to Amazon where you can pre-order the book. The blue cover is for the Australian edition which is also out in May.

MWP is the closest thing I've ever done to a classic Regency romance so you'll find a host of favorite themes like ballrooms and false identities and elopements and duels. And a really delicious (even if I do say so myself) rakish hero in the Marquess of Ranelaw.

So clearly that's your May reading taken care of, LOL! What other books are you looking forward to reading in the next few months?

Oh, and because of the GO RED FOR WOMEN campaign, there's a giveaway for a random commenter. A signed copy of my book with a RED spine TEMPT THE DEVIL. We've also got some American Heart Association goodies going out. So comment, people, comment! Oh, and check out the new website!

We have an AHA Go Red pin for one commenter today.

The healthy heart tip for February 10th is: Still craving something sweet? Send a fruit basket to your loved one instead of the usual sugary sweets.

Romance Writers of America and the American Heart Association have partnered to raise awareness of heart disease in women and encourage you to join us in wearing red on February 4, National Wear Red Day. Visit Go Red for Women to learn how to fight heart disease.

And just in case you missed it...

Sign up for the Go Red Better U Program and receive two free romance e-books.

From Feb 1 through May 31, 2011, receive one free romance e-book when you sign up for the American Heart Association's Better U Program and one after you complete week six of the program. And look for the Eat Smart for Your Heart limited edition magazine (that features this offer) on newstands and in a grocery store near you.

Go Red for Women is trademarked by the American Heart Association, Inc. Romance novel downloads provided by Belle Books.

Woot, BJ! Congrats on the GR!

Anna!! Wooot!!! Yay for the new site and for the new books! Whee!!!

And yep, I definitely will need to somehow beg, borrow, or steal to acquire one of those gorgeous Aussie versions... ;)

Unknown said...

Thank you...he missed me...really...lol

I know....Hmmmmm I wonder who all do we know that are wonderful Aussies that we can "Sweet Talk"....LOL

....Hmmmmmmmm

Anna Campbell said...

BJ, I love that Aussie cover. Actually I've seen a revamped version that has the heroine in a red dress on the back cover. Yumbo! And I'm so glad you like the new website. I'm really pleased with it (drool!). By the way, congrats on the chook!

Anna Campbell said...

Fedora, sadly, the U.S. postal system has hit us with a big new fee for parcels over 250 grams (on top of the already prohibitive airmail charges). I used to give away Aussie editions, especially the beautiful big trade paperbacks for charity auctions and stuff like that. But sadly, I think those days are over. The postage thing has just become ridiculous for anything that weighs more than a gnat.

Anna Campbell said...

BJ, Aussies are EXTREMELY susceptible to sweet talk. Well, I am. Sadly, Hugh J and co seem to be immune. They've obviously spent too much time overseas!

Hi Anna,
I love love love love love (you get the idea) LOVE the sound of 'Midnights Wild Passion' and can not wait to get my hands on a copy=]

This looks like such a GREAT book! I can not wait until it comes out.

The new book looks yummy ... Keep em coming!!

Too many books to name for future reading ... but I will chime in on Anna's comment about the USPS.

I giveaway many books through my blog (some I dragged home from RT, RomCon and RWA, other donated by generous authors such as Anna).

But I live on an island 2500 miles from the nearest land mass. I tend to send books to US winners by medial mail = Pacific cruise = 3-5 week delivery. One reader recently cracked me up with her acknowledgement email, "Lee Child has completed his Pacific cruise but may want to turn back and go home. It is cold here."

I do save the slimmer books for international readers in Indonesia, Philippines, Canada, Netherlands, Germany, and recently added from Romania.

The postal workers at the airport office know me as the book lady. They are helpful in making sure my packages (stuffed with bookmarks and Hawaiian trinkets) are wrapped tightly because it is a gamble once it leaves their hands. I expect at least 10 percent of my packages to go astray to the netherworld. Sometimes I leave the packages open as I take then to the counter, adding or removing bookmarks to make the right weight. But I enjoy sharing books - like Anna's - with my readers. However, I have not gotten my hands on Aussie covers.

But I will be in Australian in September - I'll stock up on Aussie covers for my US readers!

Anna, great blog and great website!

I'm so looking forward to your new book!

Anna Campbell said...

Thanks so much, Cath! I did a reading from Midnight last night - it's first public outing. I had a talk at Noosa Library. It seemed to go over really well which made me feel great! Thanks for saying you're looking forward to it and also for checking out the new website.

Anna Campbell said...

Thanks, June! The official release date is 26th April so not far off at all!

Anna Campbell said...

Thanks, Linda! Deep into the new story as we speak. It's another Beauty and the Beast one. Midnight was a real change for me - definitely Cinderella!

Jane said...

Hey Anna,
Congrats on the new site and the lovely cover. It's so purty.

Anna Campbell said...

Ooh, Kim, what a great idea! Maybe we can do a deal - I'll give you some Aussie editions and some money for postage. I think it's so sad that the world situation means I can't share these lovely books with my U.S. readers (and it's fun for you guys to have an edition different to the local one). Kim, the extra fee came in after there was all that trouble with explosives in courier shipments a couple of months ago. Every parcel of 250 grams has to go through special X-rays and they're charging the user. Sigh.

Anna Campbell said...

Thanks, Christine! Only two and a bit months now!

Anna Campbell said...

Thanks, Jane! Actually I LURVE the U.S. cover. I think it's really sensual and sexy. I'm hard put to choose between it and the Aussie cover. I've been really lucky with the cover gods. Perhaps they'll stay onside if I offer to sacrifice the Golden Rooster to them!

June M. said...

There are so many books that I am looking forward to in the next few months including:

Gaelen Foley's My Irrestible Earl

Kerrelyn Spark's Vampire Mine

Lynsay Sands' The Reluctant Vampire

Sarah MacLean's Eleven Scandals to Start

And of course YOURS!!!

And so many more! As you can probably guess, I LOVE to read!

Anna Campbell said...

June, I love to read too. Got Laura Lee Guhrke's SCANDAL OF THE YEAR calling my name right now (it's my reward for getting this particular writing project out of my hair). I loved WEDDING OF THE SEASON. Great choice of books - wonderful to see so many great Avon authors mentioned. I loved Sarah's first two books - 11 is definitely on my list to be bought!

PinkPeony said...

Hi Anna!

I love both covers. I just wish we could get the trade editions here in the states.

We have "media mail" rates in the U.S. that allow us to ship books at a cheaper rate. But it takes forever.

I love the names of your characters. Do you Google them to see if their names come up?

Congrats on the beautiful new website.

Anonymous said...

I like the amount of information you have about each book available via the hot links on your website's homepage. Thank you for taking the time to add so much value to your website.

I think both covers are excellent, though the Aussie one is more intriguing.

Not too sure what I'm going to read next, as I just finished reading the latest stack of books I'd bought. I'm in the mood for classic Regencies so might stop by the bookstore downtown and see what they have. I love living within walking distance of both a good library and a bookstore with a huge Regency section and an even bigger contemporary romance section. They even have a set of shelves of Christmas short stories year-round.

RFTC Blog said...

Oh my goodness Anna those are some beautiful covers. I like them both but I think I may be digging the Australian version more. Love the color!
I love the new site. Very easy to get around and find everything.

Super excited about the release of this new book! Not so excited that I will be on another cruise on the release date and will have to wait till I get home to read it. The Aussie looks fantastic, looking forward to having it grace my shelves!

Congrats on the chook BJ.

Anna- I am checking out the new site in the morning. Just finished 'Surrender' by Amanda Quick and I am ready to surrender to my bed. But your post required me to say Yea!!!! I love new websites.

As far as reading goes... I am looking forward to your new book in May, Sara Lindsey's new historical, Sarah Mclean's, Tiffany Clare's, and so much more.

I will devour them all! Thanks for the fun post... I already read the excerpt as soon as I finished 'My Reckless Surrender' the other night. I have to say so far my favorite though is 'Claiming the Courtesan'.

Anna Campbell said...

Jen, I usually Google the titles to make sure I'm not stepping on any toes or inadvertently naming someone after a famous Regency personage. Lord Ashcroft from Reckless was actually a 20th century peer (media, I think, from memory) but there wasn't one in the Regency that I could find. Ranelaw is actually a play on Ranelagh Gardens, a slightly down market rival for Vauxhall Gardens. Struck me as a classy name. What's funny is I seem to have a letter that's my favorite for every name in a particular book. On the one I'm writing now it's 'M'. Had to go and change some names so not everyone started with 'M'. With Midnight, it seemed to be 'R'. With Reckless, it was 'A'. Diana in Reckless was originally Antonia. But I decided with Ashcroft that was a few too many 'A's. It was starting to look like the Yellow Pages!

Anna Campbell said...

Sylvia, I want to live where you do! A great library and a great bookshop? Wow, that's nirvana. Thanks so much for checking out the website. We tried to make it user friendly - as you said, there's a lot of info there to be navigated through so Paula did a wonderful job of serving it up in manageable bites.

Anna Campbell said...

Guys, I'm really surprised that the Aussie cover is such a clear winner with you. As I said, I think the magenta cover is gorgeous too. I'll definitely have to talk to Kim about getting some Aussie covers over to you. Thanks for swinging by, Danielle!

Anna Campbell said...

Thanks, Kimmie! I love my new site to death. It was exactly that rich, luscious feel I wanted.

Anna Campbell said...

Thanks, Nas! New release isn't QUITE here yet - not long now, though!

Anna Campbell said...

Wow, Amy, you're one CRUISE fanatic! Wish I could come. I did a library talk at Noosa last night and was telling them all about the glam life of the romance author, floating around on the South Seas and drinking cocktails! They were all green with envy! Have a wonderful time!!!! And love to Meryl.

Anna Campbell said...

Slush, how cool you're a Kylemore and Verity fan! Excellent stuff. And thanks for checking out the website. There's a lot of sharp repartee between these two and it was such fun to write. It's hard to keep up with all the great historicals coming out, isn't it? Happy reading!

I love the new site whoo hoo and I am so looking forward to the new book and getting to know the Marquess of Ranelaw he sounds like one hunky hero and I am sure that Antonia will be just the thing for him.

There are so many great books being released over the next few months but at the moment I am trying to read at least one book from all the authors that will be at ARRC2011 although with how busy I am I am not sure whether I will meet that goal but I am making headway then I will get into all the books that are calling to me LOL.

Have Fun
Helen

Already have mine on preorder Anna, how could I not??? I think both of the covers are just lovely, the cover gods are your friends obviously. Love the website as well. You and your web mistress have been busy little bees.

Kirsten said...

I totally agree that the Aussie cover is way better but I try not to judge a book by the (very nice, or not) cover.

I too love a good rake and your Marquis sounds awesome. Can't wait to check him out ;)

Right now Im looking forward to reading Courtney Milan's Unveiled & Scandal of the Year by Laura Lee Guhrke.

Besides your book, I'm also looking forward to:

ONE NIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH by Anne Mallory
THE SWEETEST THING by Jill Shalvis
SUMMER AT SEASIDE COVE by Jacquie D'Alessandro
JUST LIKE HEAVEN by Julia Quinn

to name a few.....

So excited for you, Anna! Talk about spectacular! I love both the covers! And Paula and you did an incredible job on the website! You are just swimming in beautiful things this month, aren't you? Good luck with the release of MIDNIGHT'S WILD PASSION! I've read this one and it's fabulous, as all of Ms. Campbell's works are.

Congrats on the rooster, BJ!

P.S. The Oz cover really is very special, isn't it? Can't take my eyes off it!

Anna Sugden said...

Oooh that is one gorgeous website! Perfect! Well done to you and to Paula.

Really looking forward to your next book too - it looks fab and I know I will love it!

I'm looking forward to the latest Deirdre Martin, JD Robb and Karen Rose, as well as the last Troubleshooter book from Suz Brockmann. Plus Allison Brennan's return to straight RS/thriller. And the next Lisa Gardner and Tess Gerristen. Plus, I'm sure there is a new Susan Mallery, Rachel Gibson and Carrie Bebris around the corner *g*.

Guess my TBR mountain just developed a new offshoot!

Rakes and poor seduced women with a weakness for rakes? This is MY book! Thank you, Anna! I knew you'd hook me up with something brilliant to launch my summer reading!

I love both covers, but I have to admit when I saw the stepback cover for the American version, my first thought was--"Look at that spinal twist the heroine is doing, and the hero is being so helpful to pin her shoulders down so she can get the full benefits of the twist." And then my poor early morning befuddled mind suddenly launched into a bunch of stepback covers offering different stretching poses to help a poor girl's back and shoulder tension.

Can we say: Hellie's looking forward to her 2 hour massage tomorrow? Yes, yes, I am.

Alyn said...

I have a weakness for rakes too. Only for those in books though.

Love the ribbon on your new and improved site!

jo robertson said...

Whooo hooo, Anna! I love the sexy look of your new website. Congratulations on your almost release of Midnight's Wild Passion. Both the U.S. and U.K. covers are gorgeous!

I'm reading our own Suz's "The Surrender of Lacy Morgan" right now, along with Patricia Ryan's medieval romance "Heaven's Fire."

Next in my queue are J.R. Rain's "Moon Dance," first in the Vampire for Hire series. I've never read her before so I'm eager to see if I've found a new fave.

I've preordered J.D. Robb's next In Death book, coming out this month, I think, along with your MWP.

Hmmm, I think I need to get sick so I can lie in bed and catch up on my reading!

jo robertson said...

Hi, B.J.! Congrats on getting the rooster. Hmmmm, I'd say it's a toss up. I love BOTH covers although each gives off a different vibration. Interesting, huh?

Minna said...

There are way too many books to name on my list and I'm not even talking (yet) about books that have been/will be published this year. But J.D. Robb's latest is definitely on my list.

Louisa Cornell said...

Good job, BJ ! Maybe he is off the chocolate high from the Valentine's Ball by now!

You are SUCH a tease, La Campbell! Those covers and that blurb make me want to sneak up to New York and kidnap a copy of Midnight's Wild Passion!

And I happen to love BOTH of the covers. The American version is in my favorite color and the Aussie version is fabulous too!

The new website, I think I told you, is just gorgeous and very YOU!

I'm looking forward to reading your newest, of course, and :

The Perfect Scandal by Delilah Marvelle

Captured by a Rogue Lord by Katherine Ashe

Pleasure Me by Monica Burns

An Affair Without End by Candace Camp

A Sense of Sin by Elizabeth Essex

Any Wicked Thing by Margaret Rowe

Ripe for Pleasure by Isobel Carr

Defiant by Kris Kennedy

My list goes on an on. Now, if I can just expand time enough to read them all and finish my revisions and my new WIP all at the same time!

Deb said...

Wow! I love the look of the new website! Very sexy and sensuous with the red. The curling ribbon is great!

I think the art work for MWP is beautiful and I love the dark raspberry pink dress against the purple background. The gold lettering is perfect, too.

There are several romance books that I'm looking forward to reading and I'm w-a-a-y behind with my TBR pile. One book I want to read isn't a romance, but my sister says it is one of the best books she has read in years. It is THE TRAVELER'S GIFT by Andy Andrews.

pjpuppymom said...

Congrats, BJ!

Love the look of your new website, Anna. It's splendiferous! :)

I am so looking forward to reading your new book. Both of the covers (U.S. and Oz) are delicious. I hate that you've had to cut out mailing books overseas but I sure understand. I'd love to mail signed books to our overseas visitors at the Romance Dish but the postal costs have just skyrocketed. We've started sending them books using bookdepository.com instead. (Love that site!)

There are so many books I'm looking forward to. Besides yours, there are books from Julie Anne Long, Emily March, Roxanne St. Claire, Julie James, Kristan Higgins, Kris Kennedy, Christina Dodd, Beth Andrews, Kate Carlisle, Julia Quinn, Susan Sey, Tiffany Clare, Christie Kelley, Sara Lindsey, Kate Noble, Erica Ridley...and many more!

June M. said...

The Australian cover is so good! I know you said that you can't do give-aways of it due to huge postage prices, but maybe just give-aways of the signed book cover, or something.

Can't wait to read this!

Anna Campbell said...

Susan, it was fun having my people dress up and go out. As you know, a lot of the action in the previous books has been two people trapped in a small space and having to work it out between them (like that too but a change is as good as a holiday!). Thanks for saying how much you love the website!

Thanks, Trace! And thanks for checking out the website!

Ha ha, Helly! I think you're filtering that picture through Helly world! Actually I don't think I'm flexible enough to twist like she does! Snort! Did you notice he's got dark hair in the stepback? He's actually my first blond. One of the things I love about the Aussie cover is that they kept him blond. I'm back to dark with the new story but it was fun to do a golden haired boy with a black heart (well, a redeemable black heart anyway!). Enjoy your massage!!!!

Anna Campbell said...

Hey, thanks, Alyn. That ribbon's somehow so sexy, isn't it? Yeah, the weakness for rakes thing works for me too - in books anyway!

Anna Campbell said...

Deb, those colors on the American cover are so sensual, aren't they? Beautiful! Thanks for saying you like the website! I hadn't heard of the Traveler's Gift. Just looked it up - looks like it's a bit of a phenomenon! I'll have to check it out. Thanks for swinging by.

Anna Campbell said...

Wow, PJ, with all those books to read, I hope you're squeezing in time for sleeping and eating! Some great authors there! Thanks for checking out the website. I'm so happy with it, I can't tell you! I love the Book Depository too - in fact, these days that's where I buy most of my books. The problem is they sell the American editions of my books rather than the Aussie ones. I just think, sadly, I'll either have to hand deliver the Aussie editions or people will have to fly to Oz to buy them! The good news is while the covers are different, the story is the same, LOL!

Anna Campbell said...

Thanks, June! Love that you all love the Aussie cover. Hopefully that means Aussie buyers will like the Aussie cover too! Snort!

Anna Campbell said...

Catslady, great choice! Thanks for swinging by and checking out the new covers! I'm in cover heaven, frankly!

Anna Campbell said...

Katie, what a lovely message! Thank you. And my pleasure! Actually one place where I've discovered a whole stack of wonderful new authors is here in the lair. With 20 of us, we cover a wide variety of reading tastes so there's always something new and different to discover.

Anna Campbell said...

Fedora, it's a complete pain. Particularly as my books hardly constitute a terrorist threat (although they might glow hot in the dark, snort!). We don't seem to have a paper only postage rate here in Australia. They do in Britain - that's why the Book Depository can afford to do the post free thing. I think it's majorly civilized that book postage isn't prohibitive over there!

Janga said...

Anna, your new web site is gorgeous! And I read Midnight's Wild Passion last week and loved it. That's all I'm saying until I post my review nearer the release date.

As for books I'm looking forward to, I have around 50 books on my my must-read list from next Tuesday through the end of April. These are in addition to four amazing ARCs I've already read: your Midnight's Wild Passion, Julie Anne Long's What I Did for a Duke, Sarah MacLean's Eleven Scandals to Start to Win a Duke's Heart, and Rachel Gibson's Any Man of Mine. However, the book I'm most looking forward to is not a romance; it's a mystery--Julia Spencer-Fleming's One Was a Soldier (Book 7 in the Clare Fergusson/Russ Van Alstyne series). My eagerness has less to do with the mystery and more to do with finding out how the relationship between Clare and Russ is progressing. I'm also really looking forward to Mary Jo Putney's first YA novel, Dark Mirror (written as M. J. Putney).

Anna Campbell said...

Thanks, Runner! It's been such fun sharing the covers and the new website with you all today.

Anna Campbell said...

Thanks so much, Beth! Actually while it was hard work, it was also fun. I had a wonderful time looking at all those gorgeous Regency portraits. And checking out all my photos brought back some wonderful memories. Happy reading!

Ooooh, Janga!!! You made my day! You loved Midnight? THANK YOU!!!! Looking forward to seeing the review. It IS the closest thing to a classic Regency I've ever written, isn't it?

Hey, you're really on an Avon kick right now, aren't you? I loved Sarah's 10 Things even more than Nine Rules so I can't wait for 11. Rachel Gibson is an autobuy for me. And I've heard amazing buzz for Julie-Anne's Duke. Someone was on Facebook yesterday saying it's the best romance they've ever read. Fantastic! I love her books.

I hadn't read the mysteries you mentioned. I think I told you I'm currently on a bit of a mystery kick, getting through all the Daisy Dalrymples. Just put the first of the Julia Spencer-Flemings on my Book Depository list. Looks fab!

Anna, both of your book covers are absolutely beautiful! And I know the book will be equally fabulous. Can't wait to read it!

As for what I'm looking forward to, I'm not sure I have room for everything! LOL

Anna Campbell said...

Gannon, you guys at the Dish get a preview of everything wonderful coming up. Choosing must be really tough sometimes! Thanks for saying you like the covers - it's hard to believe it's so close to release now!

Can't wait to read the book!

Fedora said...

Honestly, right? Your books might be categorized as hot, but not dangerous! (Except perhaps in a good way ;)) I will need to figure out how to get myself Down Under one of these days! :)

Anna Campbell said...

Hey, thanks, Child of Style. By the way, what a cool moniker!

Anna Campbell said...

Fedora, I think a trip to Australia is definitely the way to go. Snort!

Wow, I can't wait for this book I love both covers the two are completely different from each other! The Austrailian one is very different from the usual American ones. I just finished After Dark with a Scoundrel by Alexandra Hawkins that just came out last week. I had been waiting along time for that one and finished it in a day! Now I'm looking forward to yours! Thanks for sharing with us!

So I notice I kinda forgot to put what books I'm looking forward to reading....and thus I came back ...and we're almost hitting 100 comments!!!
So Cool :0)
Well aside from Anna's Book....there's Kerrelyn Sparks' Vampire Mine and Melissa Mayhue's Healing the Highlander.....Those are my tops for right now......I have a soft spot for Highlanders....and I've been dying to read Connor's story from the Love at Stake series forever...so it should be fun....
Hope everyone's day has been good so far :P

Love the new site! The layout is great and I really like the old paintings by Sir Henry Raeburn and the pictures of nature and buildings. Cool to include these since you write historicals (most sites do not have them).

Anna Campbell said...

Hey, Johanna, Alexandra's great, isn't she? Looking forward to reading her book too! Thanks for swinging by and I'm so glad you enjoyed the glimpse into the new story.

BJ, we're having quite the party here, aren't we? Mind you, it's been a big week in the lair with the Valentine's Day Ball and Brad's visit. He always gets a great response! That's a great list of books you've got planned - Kerry's a real sweetheart if you ever get the chance to meet her. I haven't read Melissa M. I must check her out.

June, I really wanted to give that historical flavor to the website without making it stuffy, you know? I think Paula did a beautiful job of making it look contemporary but still having that elegant Regency feel I wanted as well. Seriously, she needed the patience of a saint sometimes - I knew what I wanted, I just didn't know how to get it!

Hey Anna - You know I love that purple cover but the Australian cover is really cool as well. I like how the shadow of her leg makes a heart (grin). I hadn't realized there were different covers for the Australian releases. Very Cool!

Anna...popping up late in the day, but I've been reading your post off and on all day...(grandbabies were here, need I explain more?).

LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the new website and can't wait to read Midnight's Wildest Pleasure!! This is JUST my kind of Regency. The one where the rake gets the girl who really deserves a reformed rake in the end!Yummo!

Anna Campbell said...

Wow, Donna, you've got sharper eyes than I have. I hadn't noticed the heart thing but you're RIGHT! How cool is that?

Anna Campbell said...

Jim, I had to giggle. Believe me, Antonia really deserves her reformed rake! And man, has he been through the wringer before the happy ending comes. And he really deserves it. Love to torture my heroes, as you know! Thanks for swinging by! Hope the littlies have been fun!

Anna Campbell said...

Thanks, guys, for a great day in the lair. Don't forget to check back to see who won the signed copy of TEMPT THE DEVIL in honor of Go Red for Women!
