Preview of Coming Attractions & Holidays In The Lair

posted by Aunty Cindy

WOW! It's December already! You probably noticed that we've started one of our special holiday treats on the Bandit Blog -- holiday recipes along with your daily dose of Bandita wisdom. Watch for more great recipes between now and Boxing Day.

Surely you didn't think that was ALL we had planned around the lair during the Holiday season? We will have LOTS more great gifts we'll be giving away ALL MONTH LONG so be sure to visit often and please LEAVE A COMMENT! You can't win if you don't leave a comment. And speaking of comments, you can now email the Banditas, individually or as a group. Just click on the link at the top of the Wanted Poster. We LOVE to get fan mail!

And as always, we have some FABULOUS guests in the lair this month:
  • Dec. 3rd, yes, TOMORROW, Blaze and Downtown Press author Kathleen O'Reilly will visit,
  • Dec. 5th, as in Wednesday, red-hot chica Caridad Peneiro who writes a sexy vampire series for Silhouette will heat things up,
  • Then the very next day, Dec. 6th none other than Annie West, Waldenbooks bestselling Harlequin Presents author and CP to our own Bandita Foanna, will pop in from Oz with a very special gift of her as yet unreleased book, The Greek's Unexpected Wife,
  • Dec. 14th prolific Blaze author Samantha Hunter will be hanging out with us here in the lair,
  • Dec. 22nd Silhouette Special Edition author Rae Anne Thayne will be talking with our own Vrai Anna
  • Dec. 29th Bandita Wonder-Beth will interview her CP and fellow-Bandita and shoe diva Tawny Weber about her new January release from Blaze, Does She Dare?

Bucket boots, champagne and prizes will abound! Don't miss out on any of it!

Evidently stalking the computer with No-Doze in hand will be necessary for me to win that rooster again. :)

Looks like a wonderful December line-up, ladies! No holiday slacking for the Bandits!

Fantastic line-up! I'm keen on baking this year, so I can't wait for the recipes. Perhaps I'll make little bandita cookies with masks on them!

Whoooohoooo, AC! Great lineup of guests for the holiday month!

I'm really looking forward to the new recipes, uh, not that I NEED any more, but it's so much fun trying out new ideas for goodies!

Ladies, it sounds like it will be a wonderful December here at RB! Can't wait to hear from all the guest bloggers, and of course from all you too!

I'm looking forward to Kathleen O'Reilly tomorrow. Yesterday I finished A Blazing Little Christmas -- a Blaza Christmas anthology with my gal pal Jacquie D, Joanne Rock, and yep Kathleen O'Reilly. Can't wait to talk to her about her story Dear Santa. I loved the interaction between Rebecca and Cory.

AC, you make us sound like a happenin' place! I'm excited about the wonderful things we have coming up in this holiday-packed month.

Congrats to Kim on the rooster. You've gotta be fast to snag that baby!

Lily, Kim, Ann M., Helen, and Gillian--thanks for letting us know you like the preview. AC has worked very hard on it, and it's nice to know the people we're doing it for, our visitors, find it appealing. We really do love having y'all stop by, as Caren said. If not for y'all, we'd just be talking to each other, and we can do that anytime.

Helen, I think AC is having fun. She got to threaten us, and she really does love that. *g*

Buffie, Kathleen will be especially happy to know there's someone who has already read the anthology. She's excited about joining us, too.

Thanks to everyone for helping us party!

(AC rubs sleep blurred eyes)
MORNING everyone (whether or not it is good has not yet been determined).

Way to GO on snagging the rooster, Kim H! I think I posted this blog entry around 3 am East Coast time, so where ever you are, it was late. :-)

Helen, thanx for asking, I am almost finished with my revisions. In fact I WILL be finished this week, because I'm leaving on yet another cruise to Mexico next Saturday. 88 degrees F. in Mazatlan sounds Heavenly right now!

Glad everyone enjoys our guest bloggers. We have been very lucky to have so many wonderful authors agree to hang out with us and give away books. We have even MORE lined up in the months to come so definitely check back. As Caren and Nancy said, there's almost always a PAR-TAY happening here in the lair!

Also happy you like the recipes. Even your Ole Aunty will be posting one this week! And stay tuned for even MORE gifts to be given away by the Banditas.

Finally, BIG THANX to Caren for showing up EARLY this morning (what is WRONG with you, Woman?!?!) and pimping our new email address. If you have suggestions for the blog or just comments you don't want to leave here for all of cyber-space to see, PLEASE EMAIL US!

Okay, did that sound threatening? It's still too early for me to tell.

Just another example of how the party never stops in the Lair! Congrats on snagging the ultimate party animal- The GR, Kim! This is going to be a fun month! Then again what month isn't fun with the Bandits!!

AC, I loved your update! Thank you so much for taking time out from your revision to share some of the wonderful coming attractions. It's going to be some month in the lair!

Actually, I'm here to tout Annie West's day here. She and I are actually running a joint chat on working as crit partners so you get a Bandita and a wild Presents author for your money ;-) She's also giving away not one, but TWO books. One is her transcendent FOR THE SHEIKH'S PLEASURE which features a hero almost as yummy as Suz's mint cookies! The other is her next US release THE GREEK'S UNEXPECTED WIFE which doesn't come out until May. So this is a sooper dooper sneak peek at what will surely be her next bestseller. Also I'm giving away a copy of UNTOUCHED and one of the Anna Campbell calendars, and both of us will throw a few goodies in with the prizes. So pop by on the 6th for a partay!!!

O my!! December is certainly going to be business as usual in the Bandita lair -- lots of fun, lots of excitement, fantastic guests, and the GR.

AC: The food's supposed to be fab-fab-fab down there. Perhaps you could bring us a cookie recipe from your cruising adventure.

Foanna... *thud* (Anna and Annie on the 6th)

Let the good times roll...

Keira, we're trying to structure it like a chat which has meant we swap emails and just add to the conversation (hmm, like that's anything we don't do 24/7 anyway! We're terrible!). I've wanted to have Annie as a guest for a while so I'm really excited about this. I've got to say whenever you write 'thud', I can't help thinking of a chicken having a heart attack. It makes me laugh because I'm a mean, horrible girl!

Nancy said...

I'm with Keira, AC! We need that cookie recipe. Variety is the spice of lfe, after all, and the more recipes, the more different ways we'll have to motivate those new year's resolutions about going to the gym!

I hope those resolutions work better than my November one did. *sigh*

Regardless, I'm having cookies and divinity (recipe via Kathleen tomorrow), and whatever else anyone feels inclined to share. Some of it'll be vicarious, of course. I mean, we who are baking challenged can't try every recipe. Just lots of them. *g* Regularly. After all, we have to have something to serve those holiday guests!

"...and the more recipes, the more different ways we'll have to motivate those new year's resolutions about going to the gym!"

Nancy, this was absolutely hilarious. Eat more, so that you may have more reason to go to the gym. Kind of like, buy more, save more.

I can't help thinking of a chicken having a heart attack...

That would be the GR panicking, Foanna, because he ain't with meeeeeee.
